FITC Tokyo 2011
After having successfully held events in Toronto, Chicago, San Fransisco, Hollywood, Korea, and Amsterdam, FITC is back again in Japan with FITC Tokyo 2011. Explore the creation of NEW ideas and concepts, where the limits of technology in design and art can be experimented with, explored, and then broken and reinvented. Learn how designers and technologist are pushing limits that go beyond what their tools are designed to do, how they find alternate ways to get what they want, and push the boundaries of what is possible to avoid mediocrity.
Who goes to an FITC event?
Flash Designer, Flash Developers, Motion Graphic Artists, Mobile Developers, Digital Artists and anyone in or having an interest in Flash and digital media. From our technical presentations for the beginner, the intermediate, and the super advanced, to the inspirational creative sessions, there is always something to choose from.
New to FITC events?
FITC has produced events over 30 events since 2002, with over 15,000 attendees through 18 cities around the world. Based and starting in Toronto, we have done events in Amsterdam, Tokyo, San Francisco, Chicago, Seoul, New York, Los Angeles, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Montreal. We produce a number of our own events (Such as FITC Toronto, FITC Amsterdam, and other cities, as well as FITC Mobile) and also produce and work on other events, such as Pause (a motion graphic focused event) and NXNE Interactive, as well as Unconference events at Adobe MAX in San Francisco, Tokyo, and Los Angeles. We have also collaborated on dozens of other projects widening our scope and allowing us to bring you the best events out there when it comes to content, networking and of course great parties!
FITC Background
FITC Toronto was launched in 2002 as a way to build and grow a strong community within the local Interactive industry. Held at the Design Exchange in downtown Toronto, this inaugural event drew attendees from across Canada and the USA, and was a SOLD OUT success.
Since then, FITC has expanded and has held events in Amsterdam, Chicago, Hollywood, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and now is making its debut in San Francisco. FITC events continue to grow in attendance and reputation, making FITC the recognized global leader in producing events for the design and technology community.
